Deputy Food, Beverage and Events Manager

We currently have an amazing opportunity for an experienced food, beverage and events manager with a passion for food and event management.

The Deputy Food, Beverage and Events Manager position will report directly to the Godolphin Arms Food and Beverage Manager and help to run the catering operation on a day to day basis to deliver a memorable visitor experience and to achieve financial targets. The successful applicant will be required to deputise for the manager as required, and maintain the standards of food and behaviours set by the manager.

The Godolphin Arms restaurant is very busy with a high demand for food and drink at peak times of the year. 

A key element of the role is the responsibility for the planning, implementing and post event evaluation of all events, providing our customers with a world class experience that will be remembered for the rest of their lives. The Godolphin Arms hosts a variety of events that include wedding receptions, tour groups, corporate events, evening entertainment, community-led coffee mornings, and special occasion events such as Christmas Day Lunch, Mother's Day and New Year's Eve.

The Mount Haven Hotel and Restaurant, our sister hotel, is located on the fringe of Marazion, and was acquired in 2016 by St Aubyn Estates. Currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment, the Mount Haven is set to reopen its doors and welcome guests once again on the 1st June 2017. 

As part of the preparations, the Mount Haven is currently looking to expand and recruit some new staff to join the team.
