Winter in the West
From romantic sunsets in November, an array of Christmas lights in December to refreshing walks and winter warmers in cosy pubs in January - there is plenty to get excited about this winter.
To start your Christmas gift shopping (if you haven't already) be sure to check out the various festive fairs throughout the area and support our local makers. From our very own Cornish Christmas Market to the Etsy Made Local Fair, you are sure to find the perfect present for friends and family.
Walk into winter
Wrap up warm, pull on your walking boots and get out onto the South West Coast Path. There are plenty of great coastal walks from Marazion. Head east towards the village of Perrnauthnoe and stop by the Cabin Beach Cafe for a Proper Job hot chocolate, or head west towards Penzance, Newlyn, and Mousehole. If you're up for a longer trek - head inland and follow St Michael's Way to Lelant.
Sunsets & Storms
Storm watching and catching spectacular sunsets are two of our favourite past times throughout the winter months. As well as being able to enjoy these activities from the comfort of our restaurant and rooms, we would highly recommend heading down to Sennen, Land's End and Cape Cornwall to watch the white horses roll in and Trencrom Hill and Carn Brea for the perfect Cornish sunset.
