Our New Spring Menu
The fresh flavours of spring are bursting through onto our newest seasonal menu!
Our head chef, Nick Eyre, has created a new menu for spring that incorporates a wonderful variety of dishes inspired by ingredients that include seasonal fruit and vegetables, fish caught within view of the restaurant, cheese produced in Cornwall, and lamb reared in West Penwith.
New to the menu is a Mount's Bay Caught Soused Mackerel, which immediately melts in the mouth, with an acidic zing that is fresh and tantalising. Many of the classics have remained on the menu, such as Tribute battered fish with mushy peas, chips, and tartare sauce, as well as the much loved beef burger, with a new secret recipe. Our Godolphin Homemade Burger has been an idea of Nick's for a while, that would utilise top quality Cornish beef. Using a blend of herbs and beef reared in West Cornwall, which has been cooked to a pink perfection and sandwiched into a golden brown, crusty pretzel bun, Nick has perfected a favourite - succulent and full of flavour!
Another dish to look out for, and well worth saving room for, is the Godolphin's play on Rhubarb and Custard - a British favourite. Crack through the caramelised topping of our Rhubarb and Custard Crème Brûlée to a creamy custard filling, with a tart layer of rhubarb compote, and enjoy a mouthful of rich, smooth flavours cut by fruity tang.
